Wildlife Photography Workshop Sandstone, Minnesota
July 1, 2007 through July 3, 2007
Join photographers
John Meek and
David Stratton at the
Minnesota Wildlife
Connection for 3 days of wildlife photography. You will have the opportunity to
photograph cougar, deer, bobcat, lynx, bear, wolf and many other North American
species. As a special feature, snakes, lizards and frogs will be available for
this event.
This workshop is geared towards both the professional and amateur photographer.
Both John and David will be available to share their knowledge so that you can
create many wonderful images of animals in natural settings.
Bring along a 35mm or digital SLR and enjoy! Most images can be shot using
lenses from 28mm through 200mm. Lenses larger than 200mm may also be used, but
fantastic up close and personal images are yours for the taking even if you
don’t have them. A tripod and flash are highly recommended. Macro lenses and/or
extension tubes will also be handy for the smaller animals. Be sure to bring
extra batteries and LOTS of memory cards or film. We estimate that you will be
shooting as many as 700 images or 20 rolls of film per day.
$1995.00 per person includes: Minnesota Wildlife Connection fees, 3 nights
lodging, 3 continental breakfasts, 3 lunches and 1 buffet dinner. All fees are
based on double occupancy.
Airfare and/or ground transportation are not included in this price.
Flights should be arranged through Minneapolis/St. Paul.
Rental cars are available at the airport for the 1-1/2 hour drive to Hinckley.
