At an early age I was exposed to
the natural wonders of life growing up in Utah. My father showed me
the wonders of nature through hunting, fishing, and hiking trips. My
mother introduced me to the beauty of winter on many of our ski
trips. On these outings we visited many new places and met a variety
of new friends. In
my early years, I enjoyed viewing photographs from our family
outings, family snapshots, picture postcards, and magazines such as
Life, Look, and National Geographic. At the age of 10 I began my life in photography when I received my first camera as a birthday
gift. Immediately I began photographing people and various things
that interested me.
Throughout the years I have
explored the many venues of art, but my passion for capturing the
soul of emotion through photographic images remains the strongest. |
